Tessa LawrenceTessa Lawrence is the first-ever director of human resources for EASi, responsible for further building the department’s operational effectiveness. In her role, Tessa is responsible for strengthening EASi’s operational capabilities and effectiveness, mitigating organizational risk and supporting our people with the processes, tools and education needed to be successful. She works closely with executive leadership to oversee employee relations and performance management, as well as provide guidance to EASi’s Field Support Group.

Prior to her promotion, she served as director of field support for EASi’s parent company, Aerotek Inc., a leading provider of recruiting and staffing services. In that role, Tessa led a team of more than 800 people in more than 200 offices across the United States and Canada. Tessa joined Aerotek in 2003 as a sourcing specialist in Denver, CO. In this role, Tessa was responsible for all steps associated with sourcing and delivering qualified, diverse candidates to Aerotek recruiters. Later that year, Tessa was promoted to on-premise manager in Denver and was responsible for overall account management, including the supervision of the team assembled to service the account. She was promoted to customer support associate in 2005 and then customer support supervisor later that year. She was promoted to regional field manager in 2006 and transferred to Columbus, Ohio. In this role, she was responsible for educating field support personnel in the areas of operational compliance and efficiency, leadership and development, and effective communication. Tessa was promoted to her current role in 2011 where she is responsible for the oversight and management of the Field Support Group and leadership and development of the RFM team.

In 2014, Tessa received Aerotek’s Significant Impact Award, which recognizes a handful of select leaders across the company who not only make a huge impact on the company in their day-to-day roles and responsibilities, but also live Aerotek’s Guiding Principles. Tessa developed a strong legacy of developing her team, colleagues and other leaders around her while also being committed to her own development – a direct representation of Aerotek’s ‘Develop Yourself and Others’ Guiding Principle.

Tessa is a member of the Women in Leadership Cohort and serves as co-chair for Aerotek’s Regional Diversity Board. She also sits on the Board of Directors for the National Diversity Council’s Ohio Chapter and leads her director partners in the national partnerships strategical direction. Tessa graduated from Ohio State University with a bachelor’s of science degree in Business Administration and Management. When Tessa isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her family and developing herself through leadership books and podcasts.
