Amanda has been with Miami Valley Hospital of Premier Health in Dayton, Ohio, since 2000. She began her career as a nursing assistant while in nursing school. In 2002, Amanda received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Wright State University and began her work as a Clinical Nurse on the Neuroscience Unit. During her career at Miami Valley Hospital, Amanda has been a Team Leader, Case Manager, Administrative Officer, and for the past 7 years, Amanda has been a Nurse Manager. Amanda completed her Master’s Program in Healthcare Administration in 2016, and has been the Nurse Manager of the Emergency Department since 2015. Amanda is married and the mother and step-mother to five children, ranging in ages from 10-21, who keep her busy in her free time.
