Megan Cleghorn is Co-Founder and CEO of Request For Relief LLC, a national organization dedicated to increasing resilience, enhancing wellness, strengthening performance and improving bottom-line business results in high stress and trauma-informed work environments. Prior to launching Request For Relief, Megan spent fourteen years as a corporate restructuring professional, advising companies in distressed situations on operational and financial reorganizations as they underwent transformational organizational change.

Most recently, Megan practiced law as a restructuring attorney with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP where she represented corporate borrowers, institutional lenders, majority shareholders and other parties in distressed situations in out-of-court turnarounds and in-court reorganizations. During her practice, Megan advised companies in numerous industries on transactional and litigation matters involving legal and business strategy, corporate governance, distressed M&A and general corporate litigation. Her extensive leadership, organizational enhancement and restructuring skills are augmented by her training in executive leadership, bold transformational change and management of human assets at the Wharton M.B.A. Program for Executives.

Megan regularly presents on topics of Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Advancement of Women, Organizational Wellness and Transformational Change with a number of organizations, including the National Diversity Council and its many state and regional affiliates.

Megan obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and her Juris Doctor degree from Duquesne University and her M.B.A. from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
