Alicia Townsend is Vice President, Community Development Manager at U.S. Bank responsible for Community Reinvestment Act performance for Ohio Metro markets. Alicia is a seasoned leader with more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. Alicia has several years of experience in both private and non-profit organizations as well as the public sector. Alicia’s experience includes serving as a Commercial Real Estate Loan Officer and Consultant at the Cincinnati Development Fund, Inc. and the Division Manager for the City of Cincinnati’s Small Business Division and Office of Contract Compliance. She was also the first Executive Director of Greater Cincinnati Microenterprise Initiative, Inc. Over a 10-year period at U.S. Bancorp Alicia’s positions of increasing responsibility included Visa Check Card Product Manager, Branch Manager, and Administrator in areas of Personal and Corporate Trust. In past roles Alicia has established programs for entrepreneurs and small business owners that continue to positively impact Cincinnati’s small business community and the economy.

Alicia is a graduate of Leadership Cincinnati Class 35. She was recognized by the Cincinnati Community Development Association as Lender of the Year in 2011. Alicia serves on the board of Women Helping Women, Affordable Housing Advocates, Greater Cincinnati CDC Association and Brighton Properties in Northern Kentucky. She is a current member of the City of Cincinnati’s Small Business Advisory Commission and the Healthy Food Access Task Force. Alicia’s volunteer and civic involvement dates back over 20 years and includes being a founding Board member of the U.S. Bank Development Network in 1997, a Mayoral Appointment to the Cincinnati Community Development Advisory Board; past board member of the Cincinnati Empowerment Zone Corporation, former Vice President, Interfaith Hospitality Network Board; past member of Metro Moves Advisory Council; and former Vice President, Roselawn Business Association. She is also a graduate of the Urban League’s African American Leadership Development Program; 2002 Recipient of the YWCA Rising Star Award; recipient of the 2001 Leading Women’s Award in the category of Corporate Finance; 1999 Recipient of the Business Courier’s Forty Under 40 Award; and a 1996 YMCA Black Achiever.

Alicia Townsend is a native Cincinnatian. She earned her BS degree in Business Administration and Management from Xavier University and received her MBA from Thomas More College. She resides in City West, one of Cincinnati’s newly developed communities, with her husband of 29 years.
