Elisabeth Baldock

Lis comes to Cincinnati Children’s with more than 20 years’ experience as a Human Resources leader in a variety of fields, including health care. Prior to her position at Cincinnati Children’s, she was the senior vice president of Human Resources and Learning at the Midland Company/American Modern Insurance Group in Amelia, OH, a position she has held for 10 years. She previously has served as a consultant for the Hay Group, a Human Resources planning and development practice, and as vice president of Human Resource Development and Learning at Catholic Health Care Partners.

A graduate of Smith College in Massachusetts, Lis received her PhD from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg, VA. She is chair of the Human Resources Committee of the Greater Cincinnati American Red Cross. She serves as an executive mentor at Xavier University, and has served as a community advisor on the Personnel Committee of the Board of Trustees at Cincinnati Children’s since 2001.

Lis has a broad experience base and proven track record of improving organizational effectiveness.
